Description

The webinar organized in 2023 as part of the BioDT (Biodiversity Digital Twin) project, in collaboration with GBIF (Global Biodiversity Information Facility), addresses a fundamental topic in modern research, the citation of biodiversity data. The event explores the importance of properly attributing credit to data creators and sources to foster transparency, credibility, and scientific collaboration. Essential techniques and standardized best practices are presented—with a particular focus on persistent identifiers such as DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers)—to make datasets more discoverable, reusable, and traceable..This event is part of a series of webinars focused on sharing best practices on data citation.
