Description

The training materials, derived from the BioDT Winter School & Hackathon, offers an overview of the technological components of the Biodiversity Digital Twin. Through this module on the LEXIS platform and computing infrastructure, the resource demonstrates how to manage HPC and AI workflows on federated supercomputers and how to develop interactive interfaces for ecological research, using the Crop Wild Relatives (CWR) use case as an analytical reference.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this module, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the high-performance computational structures required to support Digital Twins on a European scale;
  • Manage Complex Workflows via the LEXIS Platform;
  • Apply Digital Twins to Biological Selection.

Target Audience

Researchers, students, and innovators in the fields of ecology and computing who are interested in developing interactive interfaces for biodiversity Digital Twins and orchestrating complex workflows across HPC, Cloud, and AI using the LEXIS platform.
