Description
The event illustrates how the project combines artificial intelligence, FAIR data, biodiversity science, and the LUMI supercomputer to overcome the limitations of traditional computing and create advanced predictive models of ecological dynamics, in support of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030.
Learning Objectives
Upon completing this event, you will be able to:
- Understand the core concept and operational principles of Digital Twins applied to biodiversity (BioDT);
- Recognize the role of High-Performance Computing (HPC) in processing complex environmental and ecological datasets.;
- valuate the four foundational pillars and practical application scenarios of BioDT use cases.
Target Audience
Researchers, research communities, research infrastructure managers, research organisations, policy makers, and innovators interested in biodiversity modelling, high-performance computing, and FAIR data applications.
