  • The LifeWatch ERIC Metadata Catalogue is an information management system powered by LifeWatch ERIC.

It connects researchers to a diverse range of digital resources, including datasets, services, research sites, workflows, Virtual Research Environments (VREs), and training materials.

Designed to facilitate the access, storage and management of heterogeneous metadata across biogeographical and national boundaries, the Catalogue ensures that metadata is structured and standardised.

Based on a customised version of GeoNetwork and mainly built on the Ecological Metadata Language (EML) 2.2.0, ISO19139, EOSC standards, it guarantees interoperability and reuse of digital resources by research communities, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
