  • Set off to discover European coastal wetlands and their vital role for our planet. By achieving the game objectives, you will explore the ecology, geography, and biodiversity restoration of these precious ecosystems, discovering where they are located, why they are so important, and the main threats facing them.

    This serious game was created in the context of the RESTORE4Cs project to highlight why a sustainable management of European wetlands matters for all of us.

    The RESTORE4Cs (Modelling RESTORation of wEtlands for Carbon pathways, Climate Change mitigation and adaptation, ecosystem services, and biodiversity,  Co-benefits) project aims at supporting the implementation of Climate and Biodiversity policies in the context of the European Green Deal, by:

    • Gathering effectiveness data on restoration and land use management actions;
    • Structuring a European Community of Practice (ECoP);
    • Upscaling models and integrative assessment tools;
    • Co-designing a multi-actor approach.
