DESCRIPTION:Training materials on research software quality are often scattered across different platforms and formats, which can sometimes make it hard to find what you’re looking for.\nThis EVERSE Network webinar introduces EVERSE Training, a training catalogue for early-career scientists and engineers, designed as a one-stop-shop for trainees to discover content (such as course materials, tutorials, workshops and schools) and for trainers to showcase their work.\nDuring this webinar we’ll be exploring how and why EVERSE Training came to be, including:\n\nThe underlying infrastructure behind EVERSE Training — open-source software, TeSS (Training e-Support System) and the mTeSS-X project, which the catalogue is a part of;\nMetadata recommendations that make training resources useful, findable and reusable;\nRecognition for trainers and contributors.\n\n \nNo prerequisite knowledge is needed, but if you are a trainer, research software engineer or are involved in research software training or training metadata, then this webinar could be for you!\nRegistration: indico.cern.ch/event/1697013/\n
