DESCRIPTION:ENVRI week is the annual consortium meeting of the ENVRI-FAIR project, a week dedicated to Environmental Research Infrastructures.\nAfter two years of online meetings, the ENVRI week will be held as a face-to-face meeting in Leipzig, Germany, from 30 January to 3 February 2023.\nThe ENVRI week hosts ENVRI-FAIR project-related sessions and several sessions of the Board of European Environmental Research Infrastructures (BEERi) and the ENVRI Community, including an interactive training session provided by LifeWatch ERIC.\nInteractive training session: Requirements Elicitation\n\nWednesday February 1, 2023, 11:00 -12:30 CET\nThe FAIR Service LifeCycle starts with the foundational phase of Requirements Elicitation. Requirements Elicitation is crucially important in the design and development of any new application. Elicitation techniques and processes help to identify appropriate requirements and address the users’ needs.\nThe most common challenge for analysts during the elicitation process is ensuring an effective communication between themselves and the users. Indeed, system errors and failures frequently originate from poor communication between users and analysts.\nThis 90-minute interactive training session will focus on presenting the main elicitation techniques, examining their implementation in the design and development of FAIR services, and discussing main challenges and lessons learned.\n
